GITEX Global 2026: a content plan for exhibitors (7 to 11 December)
GITEX Global 2026 is 7 to 11 December. A plan for the film, photography and social posts your stand needs, from five weeks out to the week after the show.

GITEX Global 2026 runs from 7 to 11 December: the GITEX Summit is on 7 December at Dubai World Trade Centre, and the GITEX Global expo is on 8 to 11 December at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. The show has moved from its usual October slot to December this year, and an exhibitor who books film and photography now has about five weeks to plan it.
This guide sets out what the show is, what your stand's content has to do, a shot list for a technology stand and a timeline from five weeks out. It follows the same approach as our Gulfood 2027 content plan, adapted to a technology audience.
What is GITEX Global 2026?
The organiser describes GITEX Global as the world's largest technology and AI event. The 2026 theme is "BOLD NEW Frontiers" under the heading Intelligent Economy, and the summit's dialogue theme is AI sovereignty and scalability. The programme includes specialist sub-events, among them GITEX World Robotix, GITEX Data Centres, GITEX MOBX Mobility, GITEX Quantum Expo, GITEX New Energyx, GITEX Agentix, GITEX Marketing Intelligence and GITEX Retailx.
On size, the organiser's own visitor and exhibitor counters were not filled in when we checked, and third-party listings disagree, quoting between about 170,000 and 200,000 visitors. We do not quote a number as fact. What matters for a stand is simpler: the hall will be crowded, and the people you want to reach have dozens of other stands to see.
What does your content have to do at a technology show?
| When | Job | What to make |
|---|---|---|
| Before the show | Get meetings booked | A 30 to 60 second product film and clean product visuals for invitations, LinkedIn and email |
| During the show | Capture the stand and feed social | Stand film, demo footage, interviews, a photo set and daily vertical clips |
| After the show | Keep leads talking | A highlight film, clips for follow-up emails and a case-style short for the website |
What should you film and photograph at a technology stand?
This is the list we would agree with you before the show.
Screens and bright show-floor lighting are the usual problems at a technology stand. We plan demo shots around them, and record demo screens separately where the content has to be read.

Tell us the event and the dates. We reply within one working day with a scoped quote.
What do you need to know about filming in the hall?
Exhibition halls set their own filming rules, and Dubai requires a Dubai Film and TV Commission permit for essentially any professional production, so we confirm access with the organiser before the day. Ask for the exhibitor manual and the media or filming policy early, and ask whether your stand contractor's build hours leave time to shoot the empty stand. If you need a stage session or a product launch streamed live, our 4K live streaming service covers that.
What does event coverage cost?
Event coverage is quoted per brief, because the cost depends on the number of days, the crew, the deliverables and the edit. As a guide, a reel starts from AED 1,000 for the shoot alone and from AED 1,500 shot and edited, and one crew call is shared across everything shot in it. A single call that covers the stand film, the interviews and the daily clips costs far less per piece than booking each separately. Photography is normally delivered in 5 to 10 working days, and if you need material while the show is still on, tell us at the start so we can say what is realistic.
How do you keep your social channels moving during the show?
A stand that posts once at the end of the show misses the days when attention is highest. We plan a short daily rhythm and publish against it:
- 01Before the show.Countdown posts, a "meet us at the stand" film and meeting invitations
- 02Each day.One recap reel, a set of stories from the stand and a post for anything announced that day
- 03After the show.A thank-you post, the highlight film and a follow-up sequence for the leads
Behind it sits community management, so comments and direct messages from prospects get answered in the same hour. That is the work in our social media marketing service, which starts from AED 8,000 a month.
A timeline from five weeks out
- 1Now to 6 November.Confirm what you will publish and book your crew and photographer.
- 29 to 20 November.Agree the shot list and interview questions. Shoot product and demo visuals in a studio, away from the show floor.
- 323 November to 4 December.Publish the pre-show film and meeting invitations. Confirm stand access and build times with your contractor.
- 47 to 11 December.Shoot the summit session if you are speaking, then the stand, interviews and daily clips from 8 December.
- 5After the show.Edit the highlight film and send follow-up emails with the new images while buyers still remember the stand.
